What are the differences between PE pipes and other plastic pipes?


1. PB pipe

PB pipe (polybutene) is a high-molecular-weight, inert polymer that boasts excellent temperature resistance, durability, chemical stability, and plasticity. It is odorless and non-toxic, with a temperature range of -30°C to 100°C. PB pipe comes in a variety of structures and properties, making it suitable for numerous applications.

2. PE pipes

The raw material for PE pipes is polyethylene plastic—a material produced through various manufacturing processes. It is non-toxic, odorless, and does not harbor bacteria. PE pipes are resistant to cold, heat, and pressure; they do not rust, corrode, or scale, have a long service life, and exhibit excellent resistance to aging over extended periods. Compared to steel pipes, PE pipes feature simple construction processes, moderate flexibility, and—most importantly—do not require anti-corrosion treatment, thereby significantly reducing the number of required steps.
