Expansion-lock sealed connection polyethylene solid-wall drainage pipe
The expanded-lock sealed connection polyethylene solid-wall drainage pipe is a flagship product of our company. It represents an upgraded version of the socket-type polyethylene solid-wall drainage pipe. This product features a rigid joint (made of ductile iron) that integrates seamlessly with the flexible pipe body. The rigid joint and plastic pipe body are connected via a non-tapered interference fit, which provides an expanded-lock function, ensuring both joint rigidity and excellent sealing performance. The interference fit at the socket exceeds 2 mm; after connection, the socket experiences stress-induced shrinkage, resulting in a tight, locked joint that achieves complete sealing. Moreover, the longer the pipe is in service, the better its sealing performance becomes.

Product Introduction
The expanded-lock seal connection polyethylene solid-wall drainage pipe is a flagship product of our company. It represents an upgraded version of the socket-and-spigot polyethylene solid-wall drainage pipe. This product features a rigid joint (made of ductile iron) that integrates seamlessly with the flexible pipe body. The rigid joint and plastic pipe body are connected via a non-tapered interference fit, achieving an expanded-lock sealing function. This ensures both high joint rigidity and excellent sealing performance. The interference fit at the spigot exceeds 2 mm; after connection, the spigot experiences stress-induced shrinkage, effectively locking the joint in place and guaranteeing a completely tight seal. Moreover, the longer the pipe is in use, the better its sealing performance becomes.
The pipe socket is machined from a single-piece pipe body and made of a flexible material. The joint is made of ductile iron with a rib-reinforced design, offering an环 stiffness that far exceeds the requirements for pipeline operation. The flat-wall spigot-and-socket structure ensures that even when the connection length reaches 50%, the sealing performance remains unaffected and the joint can withstand repeated tensile loads caused by dynamic forces.
Product Advantages
1. The joint ring’s stiffness far exceeds that of the plastic pipe body, significantly enhancing the joint’s shear strength and making the joint safer, more stable, and more reliable.
2. The pipe material features a rigid-flexible interference-fit expansion-lock connection, providing excellent sealing performance with a sealing lifespan identical to that of the pipe itself.
3. Rigid joints significantly enhance the pipe’s ability to withstand pushing forces and provide superior shear resistance, making them suitable for a variety of construction methods.
