What should be paid attention to when welding PE pipes in summer

1. Check whether the parts of the welding machine are working normally, especially pay attention to whether the temperature of the heating plate of the welding machine is within the standard temperature range (220℃±10℃) before use. 2. The adjustment of the temperature of the heating plate should consider the influence of the surface temperature and the ambient temperature on the actual temperature of the heating plate, to prevent the actual temperature of the heating plate (surface temperature + ambient temperature + heating plate display temperature) > 230 ℃. When the ambient temperature is above 38°C and construction is carried out on the asphalt road, the temperature of the heating plate can be adjusted to between 190°C and 200°C; when the ambient temperature is below 38°C and the construction is carried out in the field, the temperature of the heating plate can be adjusted to 200°C -210℃. 3. Check the misalignment rate before the pipes are connected, and the misalignment rate is not more than 10% of the wall thickness of the pipe. If the misalignment rate exceeds 10% of the wall thickness of the pipe, the contact surface of the weld will be smaller than the wall thickness of the pipe, which will affect the welding effect.
