Polyethylene (PE) pipes for drainage
The materials used for polyethylene (PE) pipes intended for drainage purposes are primarily high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, to which necessary antioxidants, UV stabilizers, and colorants are added, along with small amounts of other additives designed to enhance the pipe’s processability and resistance to slow crack growth. These pipes exhibit excellent weldability, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and resistance to rapid crack propagation, making them widely used in trenchless applications such as pipe jacking, lining pipes, and pull-in pipes.
